Education goes beyond textbooks and classrooms. We believe in empowering students to explore their passions challenge conventions.

Sovate Institute of Technology virtual masterclass with Ankit Shah

Sovate Institute of Technology to host talent development leader Ankit Shah for a virtual masterclass on career readiness, employability, and standing out in today’s job market.

“YAOUNDÉ, CAMEROON — October , 2026”

As the global job market continues to evolve, technical knowledge alone is not always enough to secure professional opportunities. Employers increasingly value communication, adaptability, problem-solving, professional conduct, and the ability to apply knowledge in real-world environments.

Recognizing the importance of these skills, Sovate Institute of Technology (SIT) is organizing a virtual masterclass titled “From Classroom to Career: The Skills, Mindset, and Strategies to Stand Out in Today’s Job Market.” The session will take place on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM Eastern Time.

The masterclass will feature Ankit Shah, M.Ed., MA, CEO and Executive Vice President of Inclusive Employee Consulting, LLC, in the United States. The session will be hosted by Jude Romeo Song Nkwain, Founder of Sovate Institute of Technology.

This initiative reflects SIT’s commitment to preparing students not only to acquire technical skills but also to understand the professional expectations, career strategies, and workplace competencies needed to turn their education into meaningful opportunities.

Connecting Technology Education in Cameroon with Global Expertise

At Sovate Institute of Technology, education is viewed as more than classroom instruction. The institution is committed to equipping students with practical, industry-relevant skills while creating opportunities for them to learn from experienced professionals, engage with mentors, and gain broader perspectives on their future careers.

Based in Cameroon, SIT provides technology-focused training designed to help students develop relevant skills in areas such as web development, graphic design, cybersecurity, and digital marketing.

However, developing technical competence is only one part of the journey. Students must also learn how to present their abilities, communicate their value to employers, navigate recruitment processes, and adapt to changing workplace expectations.

Through initiatives such as this masterclass, SIT is working to bridge the gap between technical education and professional readiness.

The institution’s broader vision is to build meaningful connections between students in Cameroon and professionals around the world, giving young people access to knowledge, experiences, and perspectives that can support their professional growth.

What Participants Can Expect from the Masterclass

The session, “From Classroom to Career: The Skills, Mindset, and Strategies to Stand Out in Today’s Job Market,” will focus on the transition from education to employment.

Participants can expect practical perspectives on the skills, attitudes, and strategies that contribute to career readiness, with particular relevance for students and early-career professionals.

It may also benefit recent graduates, aspiring technology professionals, young entrepreneurs, educators, and other individuals interested in employability and professional development.

A Message from the Founder: Building Bridges Beyond the Classroom

For Jude Romeo Song Nkwain, Founder of Sovate Institute of Technology, connecting students with experienced professionals is an important part of the institution’s long-term vision.

Currently based in the United States, Jude is working to strengthen connections between SIT in Cameroon and professionals, mentors, and potential partners internationally.

The goal is to create opportunities for students to learn from people with real-world experience, gain exposure to professional environments beyond their immediate surroundings, and develop a clearer understanding of the pathways available to them.

This approach reflects a simple but important belief: talented young people should have opportunities to learn from expertise wherever it exists, regardless of geographical boundaries.

By bringing experienced professionals into conversations with students, SIT aims to complement technical education with career guidance, mentorship, and broader professional exposure.

The upcoming masterclass with Ankit Shah represents one step in this continuing effort.

Building a Global Network for Student Opportunity

The masterclass also reflects SIT’s interest in developing meaningful relationships with professionals, industry leaders, organizations, and institutions that share a commitment to education and youth development.

As technology continues to reshape industries, students benefit from opportunities to understand changing employer expectations, explore different career pathways, and learn from professionals working in diverse fields.

SIT believes that collaboration between educational institutions and the wider professional community can help make learning more relevant and career preparation more effective.

The institution therefore welcomes conversations with professionals interested in sharing their expertise, contributing to student development, offering mentorship, delivering guest sessions, and exploring opportunities for collaboration.

Through these connections, SIT aims to continue expanding the perspectives and professional exposure available to its students.
